Yamaha Scooters
For the current year, Yamaha is launching six new and improved scooter models. As we all know, the company has always been a big player in the motorcycle industry. Fuel efficiency is the main feature of every Yamaha scooter but this does not compromise in any way their product’s high quality performance and topnotch design. You can avail of these bikes for $2,100 to $8,500. For city driving, they can be a very affordable means of mobilization. As their reputation implies, Yamaha never ceases on looking for innovations to further improve the quality of their products without emptying the customers’ pockets.
The TMAX model from Yamaha is almost like a motorcycle. It’s also the priciest among Yamaha’s 2010 scooter models and can also be considered their cream of its cream of the crop. This is a result of TMAX’s topnotch features such as multi-function instrument panel, 4-piston caliper dual front disc brakes, die-cast aluminum frame, and automatic fuel injected four valves per cylinder engine that is liquid –cooled. This thing of beauty can travel 47 miles with every gallon of fuel. There’s no bugger vehicle available today that can compete with the fuel efficiency of TMAX.
Although the remodeled version of the Zuma scooter’s gas fuel tank can only accommodate 1.5 gallons of gasoline, it is more than enough. This is due to the fact that this scooter can travel 123 miles for every gallon of fuel. As a result, you can go to long distances with just a single full tank. The Zujma’s fuel efficiency is simply amazing. In fact, it is the most energy saving model among Yamaha’s line for 2010. Not only that, customers who like a scooter with a sporty appearance will definitely be satisfied with the Zuma. Aside from having energy saving qualities, this model is environment friendly as well. The emissions coming from this bike is greatly decreased by the carburetor settings and exhaust catalyzer technology. The Zuma comes with a complete automatic transmission and a push button electric starter. These features provide and ease and convenience to all riders. The scooter also offers lots of space for a scooter. Its double plush seat can comfortably accommodate two persons.
Yamaha is recognized for its energy saving scooters that’s why lots of models are fuel efficient such as the Zuma Classic that can run for 89mpg, the Vino Classic at 110mpg and the C3 with 115mpg. The present economic recession makes this particular feature more and more important. Using this as a means of transportation is undoubtedly practical and economical. Spending on fuel and maintenance will be much more affordable. This brand new decade is surely blessed with another magnificent line of scooters from Yamaha.
Because scooters and Yamaha mopeds are even smaller than motorcycles, they are hard for other drivers to see. This is why they are usually equipped with many accessories such as reflectors that makes them easier to see in the day and night. To help make Yamaha moped riding fun and safe, follow some common sense rules, such as:
Obey the same traffic laws that apply to operators of motorcycles, bikes and cars. Obey all traffic signs and signals, traveling in the same direction as the rest of the vehicles
Always signal your turns and yield right of way.
Wear a protective helmet with the chin strap properly fastened
Only drive mopeds with a rear view mirror
Stay near the right edge of the roadway when driving.
